Once we are fully on our feet and debt free, we will more actively support projects that inspire and move us, in our community and in so doing we are part of the circle of giving and receiving.

Capital donations assist Phakalane towards long term sustainability . If you feel strongly about the nature of Phakalane's work and ethics in the world, or have benefited from it significantly through our practice of living ritual, please be welcomed to contribute financially, to ensure the continued existence of Phakalane.

Funding is needed for the following:

At this stage, Phakalane has an outstanding debt of R2.5 million, from the building process.
Building the sauna structure R30 000
Maintenance fund: R200 000
Long term: Buying a neighboring property to expand and build retreat spaces.
Creation of other similar centres for living ritual in other parts of the world.

Phakalane Section 21 Company incorporated Not-for-Gain

Phakalane is a Section 21 Company ( Association Not For Gain ) whose aim is to facilitate and promote african spirituality amongst the community. To build bridges between the african and western communities and enhance world participation within South African.

The main objection of a section 21 company is:"promoting religion, arts, sciences, education, charity, recreation, or any other cultural or social activity or communal or group interests".

Phakalane cannot issue shares and cannot pay dividends to its members. In the event of Phakalane failing or being placed in liquidation, all income and property of the company must be applied solely towards promotion of its main object. Any surplus (or "profit") must be transferred to another institution having similar purposes.
